Right-Sized Spreadsheet Solution

While nCompass is usually opposed to using spreadsheets where purpose-built software or a custom solution would be a better fit, sometimes a spreadsheet is exactly the right tool.

We recently helped a smaller pest-control business set up a Google Sheets inventory and usage tracker, giving them analytics on product usage, waste, and employee training needs. In this case, it made sense to stay with a spreadsheet and add some custom logic through Apps Script to handle entry logging.
